Was their any reports of injuries to the guys I mentioned? No.
What happens is Smith has shadow players on standby & if the Roosters & Newtown are playing on the same day but in different cities he has to take the shadow players with the FG squad in case of a last minute injury but if their is not any injuries they miss out.

What I'm saying is you don't know for sure whether a player is injured or not or what Smith's plans are. Not every single injury in the NRL is reported. You're not his assistant coach. I think they all have an 18th man these days, incase of an injury in the warmup, from memory it happened a few years ago two weeks running to a team, losing a player in the warmup. This is especially true for an away match and even more improtant for an interstate one. Also the stoopid system where our reserve grades are playing in Siberia always.Originally posted by The General View Post
