I caught the last 5 minutes of Toyota cup ... was it Moga who made a superb long run with 1 minute to go then butchered a winning try ?
Guess it shows where he's at ...plenty of skill and talent, just needs some polishing.

Yes it was him In fairness to him though i would say he was te only player on that field who could have made such a run from the position he got the ball in I was 50 metres downfield and wasnt really sure if the pass was forward

I really like the look of Sheck, very talanted. Looks a bit shaky under the high ball but that will come. Needs to work on his support play a bit and a couple of other areas. Was good last night. Moga was quite, but when he did eventually get his hands on the ball scored one great try from about 60 metres out and almost a second about 5 minutes from full time. Having said that, Kane Evans was the best for the Roosters by the length of the straight.

I watched the bulk of the second half of NYC and you are right PlanetBoy Sheck is very shaky under the high ball. He either lets it bounce or fumbles it. Definitely a prospect but is nowhere near ready for first grade. And these comments are not just based on today's performance, every time I see him live he looks shaky under the high ball, he tends to let it bounce more often than not, which is not a good habbit to be getting into. And his position play also needs quite a bit of work. No doubting he'll get there but it will take some time. I would not consider him for first grade until 2013 at the earliest.

As for Moga he certainly knows how to break the line and make a bust. But that butchered last pass for what would have been the match winning try was very SKD like.

Having led 28-12 at one stage our NYC team should have won yesterday but as is usual they feel asleep for the final 20 minutes and had to settle for a 28 all draw and were lucky to get that in the wash up I reckon.

But NC, I thought JT as the one responsible for our wins in 1st grade this year??? Or maybe it was we would've won the other 2 with him in charge???

Either way I was sure the calls were for him to take the reigns immediately from Smiff???

              LOL.

STSAE I don't understand where the love for JT from some our supporters comes from. He has a very talented under 20s team which continually plays for 60 minutes rather than 80. If that is all that he has to contribute to our first grade side then he can keep well out of it!

It's probably not really a love for JT just a hatred of Smiffy.

I haven't actually seen the 20s live for a while NC, endeavor to next week, so I will take your word on their falling asleep at the wheel finishes.

I do like JT as a coach, thought he was treated very harshly at Souffs.

I just couldn't resist the dig at those who are desperate to see us lose so our coach gets sacked. I love it how they react when they get it wrong. I know I shouldn't but it's so seeing the meltdown or the AWOL status.

Moga is a great future player for us but at the moment he needs a bit of hardened match fitness before he plays firsts, just watching him on Sunday.

He was nearly always last to reset in defence and would have got found out fitness wise in firsts yesterday. Hopefully we will see him get his chance soon enough though.
