I know that Cloey are trying to get a U/19 team together and are struggling to get numbers some of the United boys may join at this age ...its a shame because im sure they would be a strong team with some talent especially if the SG boys play ....on another note ive heard that some of them arent too happy with the coach who has put his hand up to coach the U/19s,,,,,,,

I am not sure about Cloey being a powerhouse, but they are a great club as are the other 3.
I am not sure if the local boys are on contract or not, I do know its just who they want to play for. If not I hope they get signed up soon.

Since75, you gotta be little careful about what is said. I know they have been searching for a coach with more experience and it would be a shame if the boys don't play.

On the subject of our 4 junior clubs, looking on Wikipedia, they have Maroubra Lions listed as a Rooster junior club:

Is that right? I know wiki is known as being unreliable, but when I first found this link they weren't there and have since been added. Find it hard to believe to be honest, but would be good if someone could confirm.

I played with Cloey as a young kid from around 82-88. We were always strong and the tough rivals then were Bondi United. Used to love training at Burrows Park and have great memories!
