Yep that’s what I mean. And yes the best you can do is be there for her, listen if she wants to talk about it and acknowledge her loss. It’s a pretty crap situation all round really. No words can really describe it.

A message to all Chookpen members that today is just one day in the year to highlight this cause, but every day in the year is as equally important. We are, each of us, unique in our own ways, and each and every one of us deserve to be heard and listened to. I'm not really sure if I'm articulating myself very well here, but I know it's very hard to be positive when people try to create noise around you and mess with your head and then life continually throws curveballs at you. Staying positive can be hard, I know from experience. Anyway, I hope you are all ok and not just today.

Mum lost 3 daughters before I was born and 2 of them passed in the same year, being 1964, as the little one had Beatles memorabilia in the bed with her in the Brisbane Mater Children's hospital. They say that 80% of marriages break up after the death of a child but Mum and Dad didn't let it affect their marriage or the way they raised me when I came along. So there would have been 6 of us girls instead of 3. After Mum died, I really felt the spirt of the 6 year old around me for months afterwards as she was music obsessed..Imagine having another partner in crime to go to all those concerts with..in the next lifetime..

And just reading up on that horror car crash where 5 teens were killed and the driver is only 18 himself. What a terrible tragic waste of life. My oldest has had his licence for a few years now and the youngest just got hers. Those poor families and that 18 year old will have to live with this for the rest of his life.

I’m not ok with people telling lies on here when some of us know the real truth.


I’m not ok with being the one everyone runs to when they have troubles but rarely do they stop and do the same for me.


I’m not ok at all as a matter of fact.


There is only so much one person can take and I’ve reached my absolute limit.
