Look Adzta, as you yourself have basically pointed out, this is all a bit of a laugh really. Acceptance? What are you smoking man? Personally I enjoy having a bit of banter with Friar but at the end of the day thats all it is.

Yeah I use it on lots of forums. Generally I ignore:
- People who are obsessive and ALWAYS respond to my posts with arguments/disagreements within minutes. (Lots of sites employ "trolls" to do this because it promotes discussion. Problem is such discussion is a waste of my time and I'm not paid to argue.)
- People who I decide I'll always be indifferent with.
- Immature people who have absolutely no idea and/or are just seeking attention.

Problem is you can't ignore admins on many forums!!! Often those above listed "paid trolls" are made admins so that people can't just ignore them.

So yes... I ignore people.

Isn't it funny,Mario and the General talked this place when the Wall was closing and how things were better here now,this place hasn't changed,its got worse,it is ashame because there are a few people from the Wall who i would like to keep in contact with.This place is a mess,sorry Mario and General,i know you are trying to do a good job but this place just isn't worth it.

I assume you mean "Talked this place up". The Wall and The Chookpen are (were) two different forums. The Wall was operated and controlled by the Sydney Roosters Club. The Chookpen is a privately owned and operated forum. The former was strictly controlled and the latter is not.

Some people are complaining that this forum has become too strict whilst others are angry that it is not as heavily controlled as The Wall was. It is impossible to keep everybody happy as everyone has a different opinion on how it should be run.

Right now the site is having some major IT surgery over this weekend and there is a lot of thread cleaning, relocating and general house-keeping going on outside of that as we speak.

It is a laugh. I bought some cheap smokes in Vietnam a few weeks back, and they are playing havoc with me. I just dont like it when people use the old how long have you been around line! Its like robin, and his how many games did you go too last year. Pointless crap from people that have something to prove.

I have been on here a few years now and every now and again certain posters get on my nerves and I consider using the ignore. The last time I considered it was for Bejurk and MRHK but from memory they were temporarily banned around the same time and their posts have improved since their return. In fact the posting on the site in general improved around that time but is sliding backwards again.
