  • Queensland ALP gets destroyed.

Anna Bligh has led the ALP to a worse defeat than what happened to the party in NSW.

The LNP has won more than 73 seats. Labor won't even reach 10, going on current results.

The payroll muck up and the Kiwi did us people that live in QLD all a favour.
Bligh was nothing more than a liar and a con artist, she said before being elected that she wouldn't sell state assets. What was the first thing she did when she got in.......... sold them.

The Joseph Hazelwood (Exxon Valdez captain) of Queensland politics, Anna Bligh, has just announced she's quitting parliament.

Don't follow Queensland politics but according to tonight's news it was broken promises about not selling off government assets that really hurt her party.

Exactly, it's up there with "there will be no carbon tax under the government I lead."

Federal Labor just saw the coal train that's coming to mow them down.

I've had mental images of them dragging Craig Thomson's rotting corpse into parliament each day if his abdominal pains turn out to be something terminal.

Even die hard labor voters are starting to see, their party stands for nothing anymore. Nothing but Self promotion and self ambition. My old man was right when he said in 1983, Hawke will kill the party it will never be Labor ever again. Sure enough he was right.

Your father was 100%. I watched it happen from the inside for 20 years. Ms. Gillard was the final push I needed to leave.

LoL. The twilight of old age.
Though the pre 1983 working class looks alot different to the aspirational bogans of today.
I suppose today ppl who vote Labour:
Do so begrudgingly. ie no Abbot
                        Care about the environment
Don't believe in boat invasion theories
                        Don't believe in God
Don't believe in the free market.
                        Don't read the daily terror.
Don't believe what daddy says cos that the definition of conservitism

It's frightening to think there might not be a labor government at a state level in my life time.

                            And I'm only 39.

LOL relax, despite the "enormity" of the win in QLD, the LNP did not get 50% of the votes. That harks back to the corrupt Joe "dog shit eating c*&t" Beilky Perteson (I couldn't even be farked looking up the spelling of the c*&ts name) and his constant redefining of the electoral boundires in QLD to retain power. You want to look at an example of the corruption of government John, ignore the reverance that this c*&t and his family are held in and look at the facts of his tenure. One of Joe's best mates while he held office was Lang Hancock which gives you some indication of the scum Joe associated with.

                              Chook.
