Forget Gus's crap about the Eels emulating the Storm, their tactics are a blueprint to what Sticky did at the Roosters from 2002 onwards.

I doubt very much they'll go anywhere near winning the comp as they have a crap 5/8, a "Braith Anasta" in Ben Roberts, an overrated fullback and a mediocre forward pack. Not to mention the dogs showed how to get around this style of defence so other clubs will employ that tact to great affect.

Still it's interesting to see Sticky hasn't come up with any new in regards to his tactics.

sticky obviously has incouraged his team to put it all in in the first half. maybe just to have the lead going into the break to have a rest. the dullbogs did the same. both the teams looked out on their feet running back on the field in the 2nd half. neither team looked match fit at all. i think we are.
in the 63 minute there were 6 dullbogs just walking around the ruck not wanting the ball, both teams had no chasers after a kick (except for the kicker_)
sandow is a finch if i have ever seen one. plays his own game and if it doesnt come out for him he blames every one around him. he is becoming my new pet hate the vermin riddled pos.
it would be good to play the dulolbogs soon as they dont look as big a threat as last year, but they are missing a few thugs i noticed

I agree and it almost paid off for them but ur right they wont go anywhere they dont have the talent but more so the depth.

He has the potential to be better than Slater imo, but is just too lazy and disinterested at times. Last nights game against the dogs was a prime example when Parra needed him the most to try to pull a rabbit out of his arse he was nowhere to be seen, a very Anasta type performance.

Mitchell Pearce should watch videos of Chirs Sandow, may learn a thing or two on how to take pressure off the team, 40 20s at will, trapping them in for drop outs etc

What is the use of kicking early, I really have never understood why one should kick early, I seem more benefit in making a few more meters then kicking unless your going for the 40/20.
