for those who didnt watch the dog-dragons game..
1min left dragons down by two, chip kick put in and dugan given a bit of a shove, ball goes loose barba runs length of the field to score a potential try.
ref rules no try, video ref confirms that dugan was interfered with and dragons get a penalty where ball landed 32m out. soward misses the kick, dogs win anyway.
the really stupid thing about this is, that if barba runs the lenght of the field and runs over the touchline or is tackled a 1m short-game over no replay and no chance for dragons to shoot for goal. but because dogs score a try that they did not even need to win the match, they almost lose it??
for me that has now put the video replay into an even grayer area than it already was when these things happen. im happy if they do away with it for good or if it is just used to check the final grounding and that is it.
