        Lauren,
I hope your fumigator is a good family man and brings his kids with him whilst he poisons your house for cockroaches

Good night. Don't forget to give your children some scotch in their milk if they can's sleep.

                    Glad you guys enjoyed it.
I think Lauren and AW enjoyed it also. We traded wit rather than insults.
Everyone played it in good spirit. At the end of the fight, we shook hands and moved onto the next match up.

Very disappointing, never a dull moment in Bulldog land.

He was identified as a "flight risk" coming in. I know the Greenberg's and they have gone above and beyond for all the incoming families, let alone the Hannant's.

That's why the club agreed to the "homesickness clause" in his contract.

Depending on who you talk to Hannant came back from holidays with a bee in his bonnet. There are 2 versions, neither of which I am sure are right, anyway, he either asked for more money and the club said no, or he came back and due to lack of condition was put in the "fat club" which he took exception to.

Regardless, it has a recurring theme with Ben, money!

On a lighter side, there was a story going around that Jarrod Hickey had asked for a release as well due to homesickness. Until someone reminded him that he is actually from Belmore in the first place. He just wants to be closer to the KFC at Campsie, as it turns out.

Interesting post there for a number of reasons:
                        * the Bulldogs knew hannant was a "flight risk" (as you cleverly put it) coming in but have seemingly tried to manage this risk
                        * the recurring theme of money - suggests hannant has mercenary tendencies
                        * the "homesickness" clause is BS and has been used before

As you say, never a dull moment in Bulldogs land. And can you believe it has generated such a stink over here?

His performances this year have been well down on last season, obviously hes a sad puppy, and the whole team seems to be off the pace, Kimmorleys old legs are letting him down, they will be even more dog eared after we demolish their kennel next week. Looks like a year in the dog house coming up.

                            No, not at all.

There was a small article in the paper late last year that the Titans would welcome Ben "home" if he ever wanted to do.

Some of us smelled a rat then!

Must admit, I don't expect them to "come good" anytime soon.

Down in form and now down in troops, this season is shaping up as 2005, for us. Even at this early stage.

We went through the same with Hodges. Bennett got to him after he did his knee and made sure he knew he would be happy for him to return.. Hannant it seems has just used the Dogs to get a big contract and then was waiting for the Gold Coast to free up money in their own cap to get him back.. I don't feel sorry for the Dogs but fans like you I do somewhat.
