How to start a season well ?

why the hell can’t we start a season well?

we played like that tonight missing 6 players from our starting 17 and teddy going off! Twice now robbo has left it to late

we did not have walker, Egan butch, Whyte, sitili, Watson, jwh and lost teddy

If this team started the season like this they would be too 4

what are we doing or not doing all pre season?

With the Vegas trip, I can’t see it starting any better next year, hopefully nobody gets arrested in the states either

Lets have hope , its a long shot with results needing to go our way and having to win our final two games , but let’s believe in our team . I am optimistic we will get into the 8. Even if we do , we have underachieved and questions need to be asked about our starts to the season .

Simple have the players fit like the other teams we were not fit this year

BUT: Why get beaten by the Dolphins and Dragons ?? Why only beat the Bulldogs by 1 for gods sake. Why be down 18 zip against bloody Canberra. These 4 teams are PATHETIC.

This is why we will miss the 8. I think. This is why next year this sort of embarrassing s hit must stop.

Yep this is the bigger issue IMO. Losing games we should've won.

2023:
vs St Merge at the death
vs Faiders, two of their trys were off Ashley Klown errors
vs Sharks Lindsay's no try
vs Manly, milkman DCE was allowed to getaway with everything
Win thoses and we are fighting for 4th.

2022 was a similar story. Losses to the St Merge, Dogs and Knaughts cost us a top 4 spot. Losing games we should be winning comfortably is a major cause of frustration

Nicely pointed out, I miss understood R6, he was saying his 300th would be first game of the season if we don’t make the finals.

Have a full compliment of squad players available for round 1 and a full pre-season under their belt will be more than helpful

2024 Season Spring Training/Pre-Season

Up to 12 players if selected will be back late for pre-season due to the tri-series - Australia / New Zealand/Samoa - Pacific Bowl - Fiji/PNG/Cook Islands and Samoa's 3 Test series against England.

These series finish the first week or so of November - so players will have a minimum 8 week break so won't be returning to pre-season until early January 2024
