i was just talking generally speaking, smith has done that his whole career. Its one of the many reasons a lot of people end up disliking the bloke in the end. He can't help himself with playing stupid mind games.

Justin Carney - everyone says he's too small for the wing and everyone seems to be happy with the way Tagive went the other day.
Mitchell - people complain that having a dummy half on the bench is a waste. Smith is also working on a game plan which involves our forwards dominating and steamrolling the opposition, tiring them out late in the game. Hence a four man forward bench.
Bosden - played well but which one of the bench forwards would you drop to accomodate him? The others are doing well too?
Perhaps he is not playing mind games on this occasion. He's just trying to pick the best team he thinks can implement his game plan to win the game.

I was simply pointing out that dropping players after they play their best game is a favourite mind game of smith. I didnt say it is happening in this instance as I would have no idea if peni is injured or not. I noticed he was injured when he was walking off.

I also know that there are some in our stupid coaching staff that didnt rate peni highly before - but he is starting to prove them wrong with his performances.

Tagive did great against Newcastle just needs brushing up on finishing off better than Leilua and Arona

Then why is it relevant to mention it? Because you hate Smith??

I didnt say he is playing his usual mind games in this example of peni. I also didnt read it that fletch was saying that he was definately doing this mind game with peni.

I simply pointing out that smith has always liked that type of mind game with players.

Hence good coaching from them by lifting his talents to the point where they were happy to select him in 1st grade knowing he is finally ready.
Well done to our coaching staff...

Hate is too strong a word.

I like him. Just not as our coach.

There are many who feel the same.

Is there a thread that fred hasn't turned into a Smith vendetta?

His game plan last weekend was brilliant, fred. The team implemented it perfectly.
