  • Smith must go and Politis its time

We competed on heart for a great part of the match that is true however we have no structure in attack at all. Laurie Daley kept staying it all night - no second phase at all. Thats the coaches job surely to provide the attacking structure?? Christ we had 55% of the ball - we should have been 18 in front not 8.

With Smith at the helm we are not developing our skills at all and I feel generally going backwards. You just can't keep saying we are building, we are a young team, we aren't where we need to be yet etc etc. These are professional athletes - they need to be coached, provided direction and structure and god forbid given a game plan. If Smith is providing all that but it isn't working then its still his fault - it just means the players have stopped listening.

We need a coach that can take these 'kids' to the next level - it is almost unbelievable that you could throw 2 games away in one season with less than 3 minutes on the clock. It has to be a coaching issue - the buck must stop there.

Nick Politis keeps backing him but that now must end before we slump even further and unfortunately start to lose some of this young talent that we have been breeding because they know their skills are not being advanced by staying at the club.

    Nick its time!
