      Watts goes beserk again

FORMER Roosters and Cowboys NRL player Anthony Watts has been rushed to hospital after he was involved in a stoush at the Gold Coast home of his ex-fiancee.

Police were called when Watts allegedly attempted to enter the Miami home of Shannon Kiss about 8am. He was seen out front of the Nagel Street home yelling and screaming abuse.

When police arrived they found Watts shaking on the ground. It is believed he was treated for intoxication.

Police searched Watts' car and are believed to have found an amount of cash inside.

On her Twitter account this morning, Ms Kiss wrote 'some people are absolutely unbelievable'.

She also posted a note, which read 'my life. my choices. my mistakes. my lessons. not your business' (sic).

Ms Kiss also responded with 'thanks' to a follower who said 'hope you and your family are OK. Could never understand why u got back with Watts after the last break-up' (sic).

Watts had previously been charged with assaulting Ms Kiss after an incident in Sydney but that charge was later dropped.

Watts was taken to the Gold Coast Hospital.

Watts, 25, joined English Super League club the Widnes Vikings but left earlier this year after he was arrested following a drunken brawl.

A shaken Ms Kiss told The Bulletin that she didn't want to discuss the incident.

"I don't want to talk," Ms Kiss said.

Just love the way the media continue to refer to him as 'former Roosters' player when he never actually played a single game for us!

The guy is obviously sick. He should give the game away and get some medical help.

when he was in Sydney the excuse was used that he's a smalltown kid, didn't like the bright lights, etc, etc

he'd be better off back in the bush, somewhere quiet, somewhere laid back, somewhere where old fashioned values apply...

I know, what about the Gold Coast??!!

This is a classic example of why some people should stay well away from alcohol (and probably drugs as well).

During his first stint at the Chooks I saw firsthand both sides of the bloke. And the sad thing is when sober he is a funny and personable bloke who is pleasant to have a chat to. You look at him and can't believe how a few drinks can totally change his persona.

He obviously needs help and I hope he gets in the right headspace and accepts he has a problem so he can get the assistance he requires. But I have my doubts that will happen as he's had plenty of opportunity to get his life back on track in the past.

His choices in the end. Only he can change how his life pans out.

He was in our store a couple of times last week & agree with this. Very polite & well mannered.
I know someone that has socialised with him & he tells me exactly what NC says here. Drink & drugs (along with boofhead mates) turn him into a whack job.

Been told he is headed back to the UK to play. Don't know if this latest development might put paid to that.
