The big test for me will be if we go behind early on... Will Pearce and Maloney have the metal to respond?

It's a test I hope we can avoid by getting off to a great start as both sides are tough to run down.

Tommy my only fear is rain, we haven't had a happy record in GF when it has rained.

rain cost us in 03 v the riff; but since our team has the very best defence i think it would disadvantage manly even more?
of course skid will spill it a few times as he does! but thats expected, watmough is good for a bit of dropsy too!

IMO We have the better pack and Manly have the better backs. Given that you would think that rain would disadvantage Manly more. However much of our attack stems from second phase play. Its hard to offload in traffic if its wet - SBW would be bought down to mere mortal levels.

If it rains, I can see a final score of about 10-6 one way or the other....

fletch, rain hail or shine we will win.the 2013 team has the x factor. their belief and morale is really unparalleled to others this year but similar to the great 74 -75 teams.
