  • Hayne is a lying arsehole

Robbo in the presser complained about them being able to take a quick tap off a ten metre penalty - which led directly to their second try.

    I watched the incident.

The penalty was clearly given for ten metres. You can tell by the refs signal and where the tap was taken.

The roosters players all blew up.

Then they score and Mini questions the dishonest prick. By then he had worked out how to try and cover up his mistake by saying it was a marker penalty. It was a straight out lie.

    Poor man's Bill Harrigan.

And yet another try against us from an obvious blunder by those untouchable pricks.

Mate they dont want back2back premiers, they want this close comp where anyone can win! Worst comp in a long long time right up there with 2005 when the tigers won the NRLs first touch footy GF V the Cowboys

A marker penalty is awarded at the play the ball not advanced 10 metres like an offside penalty isn't it? If so .. the quick tap was taken 10 metres away from the mark and should have been pulled up regardless ...

What can be said I too could have swore he gave a inside the ten penalty and changed it when Mini confronted him but hey nothing will be done they are a protected species even when they lie on national tv.

I thought it was a marker pen watching on tv... but it was taken 10m away.

Well it was either a 10m penalty in which Morris shouldn't of been allowed to quick tap and gain 50m. OR it was a marker penalty which Morris took a quick tap 10mtrs off the mark and should've been called back.
In either case Morris should not have been allowed to shoot off downfield and unfairly gain 50mtrs in the lead up to their try !

He can lie all he wants, but Hayne has to admit he F**ked up !

Either way, we should have shown a bit more urgency in that set. We were very slow to get back after the quick tap.

100%. Farking Hayne was waving his arm indicating an inside the ten penalty and the pocket ref could be heard saying "inside the ten..."

And did you hear the lying ****s explanation to Mini..."that's your interpretation..." Hayne knew he'd farked up.

                Chook.

Probably they got it wrong but it's an incredibly stupid situation they have now where your allowed quick taps in some situations but not others. It's guaranteed to create confusion. Another example of the tendency to continually screw around with the rules and over complicate a simple game.

Yep a penalty is a penalty, same rules should apply to all. They will bring in 3 point tries from kicks next.

Can anyone tell me if the AFL changes rules every year? I know the tinker with rules in pre season matches, but do not implement them in regular season.

Maybe Hayne was unsure why he awarded the penalty, just that he is so used to blowing them against us.

Four out of nineteen penalty counts in 2014.

                      Joke.

Hayne a liar and a dumb one at that.

penalty happened right in front of me on 5TH TACKLE! clearly indicated for off side infringement. was interesting how many times St G were clearly offside from our quick play the balls and NO penalties.....so inconsistent

Hayne has hammered the roosters since the GF. Those forward pass calls last night were a joke. A thousand of those passes happen every week.

                              What you say.

Markers not square is, from my refereeing days of now 19 yrs ago (man I feel old now), given in line with where he should have been back on the 10m. Essentially a defacto 10m penalty.
