  • To be fair to Smith...

He inherited a bunch of kids who have been completely mismanaged and un-developed for the last 2-3 years. He managed to get enough structure in to get us some good trial form and two wins to start the season. Today, he found out what is at the core.

His job is to break down the shit that caused today and build character in these kids. The ones who can't will be gone and the ones that can will hopefully form the basis of better times ahead.

60 points or no 60 points he still has this fans total support.

    Agreed,

We saw what smith could do for the first 2 games, he can definatly do it again.

this game is a perfect example to the players about the effects of complacency.

To be fair to Smith he hasn't got a decent prop in the squad to work with either.

apart from injuries and disciplinary issues (sin bins, send offs), everything that could go wrong, did go wrong

address what needs addressing, learn what you can... for example, the fringe defence --> Morris' first 2 tries came from his opposite sliding too much across and back instead of moving up which meant Morris' momentum took him over the line even after being hit... plus, Turner's first try came from Jones not staying with his man but going for an already covered ball runner in Patten causing an overlap

        then move on...

Yes but Frank Paul and Paea are seen as quality by many on this site. They were bludgers yesterday.

We can't go blaming the heat for these guys. They are professional athletes. The Tigers had 2 less days to recover yet they put on a first class performance.

Pearce and Conn were the two who can feel proud of their efforts.

It's time to blood Williamson and some other outside backs. Who cares if they are young.

SKD can beat defenders and look elusive but he cannot defend for shit.
