The NRL really is a joke.

In the Brisbane game they wre awarded an unfair try because the Foxtel idiots didn't send the right camera angle up.

Then Saints are given a try a couple of weeks ago because the video ref doesnt even have a hi def TV to look at and it was all blurred. Now they are going to get hi def sets for the finals.

Yesterday, I am convinced that the video ref didn't get the see the last shot of the elbow into Braith's head because it was shown to us only after the incident had been dealt with. I have no doubt there would have been a send off had he seen it.

Are they ****ing kidding?

Exactly right mate. If we are going to win the comp we are going to have to be 25% better than any other team just to deal with the inept refs.

I think the main reason Stewart was not sent off is because the referees are gutless and are worried that the idiots on Ch9 would carry one about how unfair it is for one team to only have 12 on the field.

and we were lucky to get skd's 2nd try , let alone an 8 point try

At the ground, we certainly saw the elbow on the screen before Archer dealt with Stewart.
I can only assume the video ref must have surely also seen it, if we at the ground saw it. Guess it's more a case of ref's these days taking the easy option of placing the player on report rather than risking a barrage of criticism for sending somone off.

Nah pretty sure we had a view of the elbow before the referee made a decision. It should have been a send off. If Braith hadn't stayed down, nothing would have come of it until the match review after the match. All onfeild officials missed it
