I too would've been less upset had we lost last week than last night.
What really killed me was seeing the disappointment on our boys' faces, especially Anasta's when he was interviewed and gave his speech, he was torn apart.
In saying that however, we worked so hard this season and I'm no less proud than I was yesterday in the lead up to the game. I'd still rather have played in the GF, as everyone's said, it's a major achievement to have made it there, especially considering what happened last year.
Gonna try and concentrate on that for the next few weeks...

Thats it backwards, we have a young team. If we can keep the nucleus of this team together for 2 to 3 years, we will be in with a very good shot.

Will be interesting to see the odds on us at the start of 2011. Lots to look forward to.

Roosters in the Grand Final every year please!

Imagine the financial ramifications for the club.

The development of younger players from the experience.

The drive for the coming years.

You cannot replicate those things by going out early in the prelims.

Positives are aplenty. We still have one of the youngest squads this season. Ryles, Ansta and the Count are the only reason we are not the youngest.

                  Amen !
In my lifetime I've seen 3 wins for 6 losses.
Of those 6, I think 5 were really winnable.

That would've had us nipping on the heels of the Vermin !

Its a bizzare feeling really. To have your team involved in GF week and all the media attention etc is great fun and being a footy addict as most of us are, you get to watch every single round to the very end with an interest...

I love it, the build up and anticipation etc..the nerves, the banter etc... Some supporters of other teams have not got a clue about how it feels and probably never will know.

Having said this, winning another one or 2 out of our 5 would have been great.

This. So over losing grand finals. Especially because we had won a couple more, we'd be a bit closer to knocking the vermin of their perch

I wouldn't trade the feeling of knowing, after the Titans game, that we were going to be in the big one.

I would sell my soul for another GF win.

I would much rather be there and lose than to not be their at all.

We are going to win one again real soon

                              Exactly Hawks.

                              Yesterday friggin hurts bad.

The stinking weather, bad calls, Carney's missed goals - I'm just so pissed off that I think I agree with Redrooster.

Only 2000 I knew we'd get beat, but every other one hurts.

I feel pretty bad for Mini - 1 out of 5.

I agree with what you are saying, but some very good footballers never even play in one Grand Final...
