no Mario, I said it was much more likely that he was being a drunken prick than your dreamtime story about wanting to get his crutches
but you're too far gone Mario
you're like a parent who can't believe their holier-than-thou child is capable of doing anything wrong
totally deluded
a new player comes to the club (a guy who's been sacked before for drunken behaviour), gets himself ejected from a pub and has the police called, tarnishes his new clubs name on the eve of a new season, and all you can do is moan about the journalists reporting it and dream up deluded fantasies
I know you'll sit there now and type some some silly response, but mate, you're completely missing the point
Ha, see thats where you are missing the point. AT NO TIME did i condone his behaviour.
AT NO POINT did i state my analogy with the crutches was fact, i only stated it as plausable.
It has been proven today (see todays SMH if your allowed to from the News servers), in relation to the Todd Carney incident, that The article and blog created by Phil Rothfield was void of fact and just sensationalisim.
and again, this article about Watts, again created by Rothfield, is again another lot of sensationalisim void of any facts on the issue..
you yourself cannot find any facts that Watts was drunk, saying "it was much more likely" proves that like Rothfield, you have no idea of what happened in this situation.
lets call a spade a spade here. Rothfield has an agenda against the Roosters organisation. Any incident that involves a Roosters player or official and dare i say it, fan, will be sensationalised and blown out of proportion by Phil Rothfield.
This quote sums phil up perfectly:
The degree to which you overreact to information will be in inverse proportion to its accuracy
suits phil to a tea actually.

But how can you criticise Watts and the club when there is absolutely no substance to the article - not even an easily obtained quote from the hotel or a police report?

As far as i am concerned you are both off the mark. Rothfield was always going to have a go at the Roosters when Carney stuffed up. Rothfield is a grub, and TOK you cant seem to admit that he is agenda driven, and nothing more than a sport writer for womans day.
As for Watts, well he may or may not have been pissed, and this is just another chance to take a swipe at the chooks.
Carney really cant be defended. No matter what he did or didn't do, it was wrong. Watts is a storm in a tea cup.
In summary we have Mario and many others who thinks the Roosters shit don't stink, and old TOK, who just defends his employer to the cows come home, at the expense of the team he says he supports.
If you 2 gave a little ground on some subjects, we may just have some decent conversations that doesnt turn into a pre school slanging match.

Quite the opposite, like i said, i don not condone what Watts or Carney did, but i will not stand by and cop the bile from people like Rothfield who want to act as judge Jury and executioner.
I have confidence that the club will issue the correct punishment and support for these 2. idiots like rothfield need to be shut down.

Hey TOK. It seems that The Telegraph knows more about this than anyone else. Can't you share what you know? I'm particularly interested in when this occurred.

Well said.
Watts would of done something wrong to be evicted from a hotel. He also has a poor record on the drink. Most fair minded people would admit that he has done something wrong here.
Having said that the article is still mud raking gutter journalism at it's best.
TOK answer me these questions.
How can Watts be described as a "senior player" when he has never played a game for the club?
How can the incident be described as a "serious alcohol-related incident" when he wasn't even charged by police?
When did this incident happen? It's a bit strange that comes out this week. Wasn't it newsworthy when the incident happened?
You accuse people for being "deluded" or "one eyed", perhaps you would be treated with more respect if you gave a more balanced view.
the telucrap strategy is obviously working, now trolling the forums for non existent snippets to print? i guess you do what you do for a living tok? but it must at times be hard to sleep at night?i think deep down you might even be a bit of a fan as well , so it must get up your nose a tad to read of the buzzes of the world being paid much more than you for getting dribble printed?one day, you can leave that job, venture back into the real world and start to again enjoy your footy, not just to incite a slip up from fans? might come sooner with news if they ever pull out of the nrl will not want to advertise the game so coverage in the tele will be drastically cut? you might have to look further afield to earn your game day ticket?best of luck, that day is coming! soon?
Meanwhile, good morning to the 3 ex-footballers, 2 of them will be ex-footballers shortly anyway, thrown out of Star City yesterday. If there was a brain between them they would be keeping a low profile. Congratulations boys, in particular, the 2 who could do without the "publicity" let alone being seen in public together.
It's called being passionate about your club. I'm a member and I'm passionate about defending my club against what farkwits and trolls write about it. You have leapt to the defence of Rothfield in every article he has published about the Roosters. You are not a Roosters supporter you are a troll.
Chook.
You can't just keep defending people who embarrass the club either just because they signed to play a season or two. This Watts dude hasn't even worn a Roosters jersey and he is already under scrutiny. Wasn't it exciting enough in Townsville that he had to come to Sydney to make an arse of himself, especially after Carney? This guy has NOW, a lot to prove in my opinion.

Are they from the Roosters Imadog?? If so, expect an article from Rothfield in 3...2....1.....

he says arguable things on purpose to stir shit up
if you want to spend all day complaining about that and buying into his debates, good for you
I don't
that doesn't make me a troll chook
his blogs are created to feed his ego and serve his agenda. Why else won't he post comments from roosters and other supporters who dispute his comments and call him into line
"Tyson Otto K" and his other lackies are there to lick his asshole and toe the line, otherwise they'd be hard pressed finding another job

One is but not really ... he is but better known for his antics at the Dogs. Actually, all 3 have played for the 'Dogs at some point. The other 2 are notorious as well. Let me just say the association of these 3 will, let's say, add to the notion of "where there's smoke there's fire ... "

Rest assured, it will come out.
Gees Imadog, you sound like a rumour from the Buzz and Bec column that never seems to come to fruition.
