apart from not showing the right amount of sorrow, Braith can hold his head high, he was one fo the few yesterday that did not give in for one second, and showed at the end what a true sportman he really is......
Phantom, Braith has my full support but 4 runs for 30 mtrs is just not good enough, that shows a lack of effort and willingness to work.
Braith will never deliver good numbers in the forwards, because he isn't a forward.
The only reason he's in first grade is because he's the captain and they don't have the balls to drop him
That said, I'd rather he'd be wandering around, talking to the ref a lot, and making 5 runs a game in the forwards than be anywhere near 5/8 and ****ing up the attack like he has for years
Regardless of his extension, I doubt he'll be here next season
I think he should definitely not have been commentating saturday night. no, it wasnt a strenuous gig but his focus the night before a game should have been 100% on Sunday. This commentating job he has got is new to him and anyone thats been in the early stages of a new job knows it requires significantly more focus than if you have been doing the same thing for 10 years.
Im not saying he shouldnt do it but perhaps saturday may have been a bad call. its hard to say how much effect it would have had.
I also cant think of any other current players that have commentating gigs.
Perhaps a deal he has with the club for taking a pay cut...?
Brett Finch also kicked a massive field goal for us.
Whats your point? Finch was a premiership winning playmaker and a NSW winning hero.
Wake up people. Smell the souvlaki!!
Anasta used the media to provoke the Roosters into a signing by crying all over the daily terror and now that he has guaranteed his paycheck for the next 2 years he will pursue what he feels the public want.....NO,what the public needs....Anasta in our living rooms.
Does any one really concieve of this quasi lock playing on after 2012?

I was dissappointed in how all the team player on the weekend.
I could not give a stuff about him commentating and don't really see how its going to do any harm. I am sure Nick and Smith would not allow it if they thought so.
As far as his attitude towards the loss when he was on TV, maybe he didn't really want to say what he really felt, because it was not appropriate and to give an insight into whats really going on would certainly not be good for the Roosters.

I don't see a problem with Braith doing media work - like the rest of us, he has the right to work as hard as he can to secure his financial future. And if opportunities come his way, then he has every right to take advantage of them.
I would rather Braith be commenting on the night before a game than having dinner and drinks out and about. It's not as if he would have had a late night - he could have been home by 10.30 pm. And don't tell me you expect him tucked up in bed before that.
And what's the problem with Monday night media commitments, we don't play til this Sunday?
Geez, I'd rather all our players followed Braith's lead and found themselves paid jobs to do when they're not playing to occupy their time. Better that than being bored and finding trouble instead.
