Match Thread: Sydney Roosters v New Zealand Warriors
Far too many errors, our right side defence is utter shit, the whole side just get's found out defensively as teams have no trouble at all in creating extra man gaps as the team just don't man up and slide. Compressed defence works when the team can slide across but they are just too damned slow.
I wondered why Hastings stopped running straight & ran sideways...
If he took them on he may have gotten there...
No confidence in him self thats why but really your talking Golden point time no urgency to support I cringed and though the game was lost right there.
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe
The boys are killing me in the footy tipping comp at the pub.Thats it for me, im not tipping the roosters to win until the mad rooter,JWH and Cords are back in the side.Really the only player of the 3 youngsters that has really impressed me is Mitchell he is going to be very, very good in a couple of years.I know its early days but i feel we will struggle to play finals footy this year, injury's,bad decisions in regards to retention of players and Pearce playing with poodles have just about finished us off for this season.I can see us 1 or 2 from 8 .
The better team overall save for some poor (or orchestrad?) refereeing that again saw different standards applied to the two teams....and a little inexperience reacting to these anomalies.
It is true that the best teams can meet and beat these adversities...but should they happen in the first place?
Positives...Jackson, a goalkicker and playmaker...please leave him at 7 Robbo even if Piss comes back.
Fuzzy hair...top stuff son. Love the quick play the balls, so important.
Elliott...great D young man...faultless.
Aubo....as always and ever.
Lattrell...just so excited he is in our team...a gun.
We aren't that far from a few wins....and more hopefully.
Just watched the press conference. Geez Robbo has a good attitude. I've never been a Robbo fan boy. I think it's too early to say how good he'll be. But I really like the way he breaks down the game, how we'll fix it, why he thinks it's happening etc. Such a different style to toovey or sticky etc. They'd be blowing up deluxe after today.

Im the opposite, haven't tipped them once this year, and better for it. Still want them to win, but realistically, until we get our 3 back, we don't look like winning a game.
Hastings will be 1/2 back 1 million percent when Pearce returns otherwise he would be 5/8 now & Niko would be 1/2. Pearce is now a 5/8.
Anyone who thinks that Robbo's job is in any way in jeopardy then they are kidding themselves, he is the backbone & the stability of the club. Things dont look good at the moment because all we have had as Roosters supporters whilst Robbo has been at the helm is success. The club I would think know things are tough at the moment but they also know that Robbo is the guy that will get that first win & with his big 3 returning that they will make a resurgence & possibly come 8th.

That shows you the Roosters really need Robbo he is a very calm sensible man who thinks before he speaks & knows footy pretty good.
Sort of agree with you on the defining moment being the Napa drop ball from the kick off but seriously SKD should of put a good tackle in on RTS & saved the try.

If we are 0-8, we could only afford to lose 4 more games for the remainder of the season and hope 28 points and a negative for and against is enough to sneak in to the 8.
On our past few efforts though, i think we will beat saints and penrith to be 2-8.

I dont think we will make the 8 mil to be honest but I think they will have a resurgence when the big 3 return & probably finish just short in 9th but you never know.

Yeah im just mucking around patchie, no chance of the 8 for us this year, no need to bring JWH and cordner back for no reason, give them til round 16 off if needed. Waste to bring them back for no reason.

SKD try saving special on RTS, arm grabber at his best, and he still can't hang on. Should haves drilled Roger with a shoulder, but has no idea how to.
