Just the one hurdle before a Comp win for Souffs and it's a biggie. Will they try to eliminate Cleary using the same old school tactics that were egregiously used on the Chooks? My guess is that they will, a no brainer really. At the very least strong arm stuff is unsettling but if it eliminates Cleary, it's a winner.

Although I will watch the matches I have no Interest in who wins the NRL or the AFL since the clubs I support are not involved and any winner is a rather token one since they weren't playing any of my sides - i.e Sydney Roosters and Richmond Tigers

My real Interests lies in the following

NRLW- Sydney Roosters semi final vs Parramatta Eels this weekend
MLB - Atlanta Braves 1 game behind NY Mets with 16 games to play and NY Mets with 14 to play in the 162 game regular season
NFL - New England Patriots - 2 games - one win and one loss - 17-14 win in over Pittsburgh Steelers today US time
EPL - Nottingham Forest - need to start winning though

The NRL merry-go-round administrators would love the Eels to beat Souths in a grand final. So, I am hoping for Panthers vs Cowboys grand final.

I'd prefer a Cowboys win but Panthers B2B would not bother me as I know it would annoy the NRL administrators. Let them change all their stupid rules again next year to try and stuff up Panthers/Roosters/Storm.

Colt, have you been into Souffs dressing rooms, and heard these tactics straight out of Demitriou's mouth ?
Because it is exactly what I think is going to happen.
And will Souffs continue to use the same tactics against the Roosters next year, to add to our 'retirements" list - Manu , Tedesco.....maybe Keary next time?

The old school tactic of using the Biff to unsettle teams has been around since the birth of Rugby League.
The "Biff" has evolved from straight out punches, and brawls, to illegal hits and cheap shots.
The violence is still alive and kicking in today's game
Rugby League is what it is, and is what it once was.
