Don't hold your breath....from the SMH....."Sources with knowledge of the situation talking on the condition of anonymity due to the confidential nature of the review say it is highly unlikely Souths will be deducted the two competition points"

They are a very good team with great strike power and with kolamatangi and Graham on the right edge can attack on both sides of the field now not just left which has always been their strength.
It's a long season and they have been blessed to have never had any long term injuries to any of the guns besides Latrell when he tore his hammy a couple of seasons ago.
Panthers should have won when they were up by 8 with 6 minutes to go and will still be the team to beat in a knock out finals game in my opinion.
For your reference, refer to the following table.

I know you'll be shocked to find the roosters have received the least number of penalties in 2023 (31), The only other 2 clubs in the 30s being raiders and dragons.

We also have the highest negative differential in penalties conceded v received, at -16 (47-31)

We also, along with cowboys, have had the most sin bins at 7.

So pretty much the same as the last 30 or so years.

      • Souths have the toughest draw over the opening 10 Rounds. They are a shoe-in for the minor premiership.

I was asked not to make it public and the guy who asked is a good friend so I’ll respect this. It’s not what everyone thinks. Let’s just say Reynolds had to leave. It wasn’t Souths who wanted him out. Us Chooks love the perception that they wanted this club legend out and they treated him poorly. It’s simply not true.

What’s the point of saying this then?
