You do realise this will lower the efficacy FFS if you are in Sydney you will more than likely still be locked down in four weeks why wouldn’t you wait If you are not then most other places are rona free

Whether you're vaccinated or not you're guinea pig. As you have pointed out on another thread we wont be able to keep the cases to zero....and there's going to be stats on vaccinated vs unvaccinated in deaths, hospitalisations, needing ventilators etc. Its happening right now in the USA & the next couple of months in the UK will be interesting

My wife almost died two years ago aged 58 from the flu .Very healthy strong lady who wasn't vaccinated.Thats the point , vaccination won't stop you getting it or spreading it , just stop you dying .Flu or Covid it's all the same , vaccinations do prevent death .My wife was lucky .So was I

I'm very sorry your wife was so unwell and I'm glad she survived. However, a niece of a very famous rockstar family recently died from the vaccine at age 56, so please just be mindful of saying that this will stop you dying as in some cases, it's actually causing death. I'm back working for the same bank I did years ago and when we were all at head office, I was the only one in my team of 10 who didn't get the flu shot. I was the only one in the team who never got sent home for being sick. In fact, I was doing everyone else's work for them and my manager at the time called me Craig Fitzgibbon as I was tackling not only my work but everyone else's too so they had to give me a big bonus to compensate.

Not everyone is a candidate on medical grounds for flu shots or vaccines of any kind. I'll take the word of my GP who has been looking after me for nearly 30 years now and works alongside a very prominent eastern suburbs professor.

What also gets me is the amount of perfectly healthy people being forced to go line up and get tested and then picking up the virus or other illnesses from the testing site. By the amount of medical centres/surgeries/testing sites now joining the exposure sites. I just get annoyed when some people, not yourself, making sweeping generalising statements saying everyone must be vaccinated etc without understanding that everyone has a different medical makeup and cannot take the shot. Like the school teacher who ignored the warning about the nut allergy amongst children and had to explain to the boy's parents why he died at school camp. Having the flu shot or vaccination can be more dangerous for some of us than anything. I had a seizure for example after being given Endone and I was lucky I was actually in the hospital when I had it.

LOL resort to the insult which is fine by me. Point is the flu shot is not the same as a covid shot, completely different and your anger strongly suggests you were unaware. I hope it all turns at well for the vaccinated. But if it goes horribly wrong which nobody knows if it will or won’t. It will be the unvaccinated that you will be getting help from. I suppose it’s vice versa in that sense too but the unvaccinated know our chances of survival from this virus are very high. However I’m happy to back my immune system. I have a problem with those who do not respect that choice of mine. Look up graphine oxide and the links to astra Zeneca. Very disturbing reading

had it yesterday so a bit late now.
maybe it lowers the efficacy a bit or maybe it makes the vaccine last a little less longer but one dose of az isn't as effective v the new variant. i live in a block of flats in the cross so you never know what's in the air but tbh i would have been happy to have it after the 8 weeks anyway. if need be i can get a booster later.
no doubt there are risks with taking the vaccine but they're way lower than the risks of not taking the vaccine not to mention that the vaccine can circulate and mutate in an unvaccinated population.
