He looks a very good player and off contract at the end of this season. I’d be very surprised if they aren’t deep in final conversation yet.

Yep, looks like we have offered him a contract & it’s up to him to accept now. We have a terribly inexperienced backline with Toops looking like he’s off to Catalans possibly, so we need some older heads in the backline.

Gagai plays on same side as Dom right? they do already have that connection. Dane is solid defensively, he just needs to get the ball to Young for about 300 tries next season.

I do hate Gagai though.

Blaize looks like quite a talent. Gotta weigh up the experience vs talent benefits there. I wonder what $$ he’s going to be after

Blaize is an interesting one, supposedly the Eels have earmarked him as a future fullback and will be playing him in the centres until Gutheson gives up the position.

He had some really good moments tonight but also showed that he’s not a natural fullback and it’s a role he would have to be developed in. Think he played most of juniors at 5/8.

We have definitely signed Isaac Moses managed players since the Mitchell Moses incident, I just think it’s Nick Politis who won’t speak with him.

He played well last night. I do like Will Penisini as well, although he was on just OK last night. Cobbo would look very, very good to replace Manu at 4.
