League fans blamed for rampage after match

Yep... my remarks about the 40/20 attempts were definitely a reference to union...

Oh PS - I did watch the union... was much more exciting than watching the dogs make a joke out of my favourite league team. Dogs weren't even playing seriously and they pounded us... don't worry, I've been there watching every sad moment of this season

The League games all weekend (on Fri night especially) hammered that poor excuse of a game. Shit even we played better than the Wobblies.

I had a similar experience after the Dogs/Panthers game on a Friday night.

I was there with the group I volunteer with - adults who have a mild intellectual disability.

The ride from Olympic Park to Lidcombe was hell.

Spurred on, encouraged and cheered on by their skanky teenage girlfriends a bunch of 'ethnic' male Dogs supporters ran riot in the carriage we were in, including punching out the lights so we were in darkness and then pushing and shoving their way through the crowded carriage time and time again.

Our members (all male) were a little spooked but OK but another young female in the carriage who obviously had a disability as well was so scared she started hyperventilating poor thing.

She was obviously a Dogs fan as her face was all painted in their colours and it was distressing to see her so upset and struggling. She should have had a great night considering the Dogs won but it was ruined.

I reckon it happens after the Dogs night games more often than not.

Reminded me yet again why I never go to Dogs home games. And our group certainly won't be attending one again either.

I was being tactful by using the word 'ethnic' rather than Lebanese, as I realise there are some decent ones who frequent this site and don't like to lump them all together. Fact is, they were definitely Lebanese as were their skanky moles, who encourage the actions of these thugs and rev them up again when it looks like they're settling down.

I don't envy you trying to control the train ride with them on it. I'd be very tempted to push a few of them off the train onto the tracks and run over the barstards.

My team got SMASHED! I had a right to be sad/angry... instead me and my mates just hung our heads and went back quietly after the game. Had a few beers afterwards, then I crashed at home with my wife.

As a matter of interest, just got home from a meeting at the 'Dogs.

There is doubt about the story and the cops don't have any details on it. There was an incident on the Bankstown line and, at this stage, no evidence that football supporters, let alone Bulldog supporters, were involved.

The club are pursuing further information.
