Still so long to go and I would say we have the most improvement in us over all of them.
Also one injury to Souths (Reynolds) or any of the Storm's big three ends them instantly. I don't get that feeling with us, I think we have a good balance all over.
I still have Storm and Souths above us mainly because they have had the bulk of their team together for a long while now and we are still learning and improving.
But it's clear there is a MASSIVE gulf in class between the top four and the rest of the pack.
I wouldn't be surprised to see 10 competition points separate 4th and 5th after 26 rounds.

I was thinking the same thing watching last night's Manly Souths game. We will have to lift our intensity & physicality in the forwards. Manly were brutal in defense. They tried to bash Inglis out of the game & I'm guessing they'll try to do the same to SBW when we play them.

I dont think we need to win all these games, if we can compete and suffer no injuries we are in with a real chance.
They're real problem seems to be their props. Lawrence is good but geez props are meant ot give go forward and what the hell has King been doing. They need to get a good prop to replace King and Kite when he leaves next season. I also didnt get why they kept passing to David Williams who is the shadow of his former 2007-09 self. He shines outside Lyon but has shards of his skill. They had no success with thier constant movement that way. Taufua was breaking lines with ease and was very dangerous but the ball kept going towards the Wolfman, why?????
They should've passed to Taufua and there would've been more tries!!!!
IMO we are the 2012 Souffs. Massive turnaround from recent ytears with a finish in the top 4 maybe lose in prelims. But next year we are the REAL REAL REAL deal just like Souffs this year. unlike souffs, womanly and Storm we cant turn guys like Sisa Waqa, Bryson Goodwin and Tom Symonds into genuine players. We are not at that level, we still can't kick 40/20's, we still cant put up a physical effort like Manly. Next year however we will be at a whole new level

We play a more creative but less clinical game than the Storm in my view. That said our discipline is developing every week.
That said we can't get ahead of ourselves. Unlike the Storm, we can and will lose to some poorer quality teams this season I think (e.g. the Riff, Cowboys, Titans, Canberra...etc)

Id like too think so , but memories of what the raiders did to our forward pack in that 2nd half still leaves me with doubts , seems when one of our forwards gets wacked we seem to drop our nuts , im happy with where we are at , but i think we are very thin in our 1st grade forward stocks and our halves area 6,7 , the intensity of last nights contest we havnt expeirienced yet , and when we did we lost , games arent won out wide they are won through the middle , for me thats the real test
