        WTF?
        Hatred? Obviously?

        LOL

I was a fan of Gus for years. A great football mind with great ideas.
As his reputation grew so did the ego.

Now I find his dribble annoying. He preaches more than commentates.

No doubt about it, Tony. You've been in the industry waaaay too long. Make the story up as you go.

This has also stunted my interest in international RL because I'm sick of Gronk, Smith, Slater, Inglis...etc so get close to cheering for NZ in internationals (RTS, SKD, JWH, SBW...etc at least I give a stuff about those boys.)
Another who thinks like me. Hearing how those so called Australians started singing the QLD team song after an international victory made me sick. That's just insulting to the other members of the Australian team who do not represent QLD.

0 Points for a dangerous tackle when JWH gets 10 in the bin + 5 weeks. When dis the word "fair" enter the world?

Granted JWH can't play Origin, he got a big punishment (and didn't "miss" an Origin game + has a bye, so is basically out for 2 months.) Gronk... escapes without a conviction. Slater... same for his head kicks.

Arrogant is the only word to describe it.

Put any half in a team with good forward pack and other creative talents (inglis) and they'll look much better.

Pearce basically had no go forward and was right there in terms of stats with cronk. What reynolds does have is a great SHORT kicking game, that's it.

Their forward pack killed ours in rd 1, yet pearce could find space and Reynolds was kicking straight to mini.
                Well said

                    Hate doesn't describe it.

I'm joining the ranks of the guys who are over Origin.

What gets me is the fact that from about round 2 of the comp, everyone is talked about as 'staking their claim for Origin'. It's made out like the whole competition is an Origin trial, when in reality, Origin is just 3 games of good standard midweek footy. It gives everyone a chance to get to the pub and have a few beers while watching the game.

Then there's the whole disruption to the competition, and sub standard games while the best players are all 'rested' and in camp. The whole thing has got so big, that it's become bigger than the comp in the eyes of the media - but most fans (the people who actually pay to watch their team every week) see it as an unwelcome distraction.

Granted, I'm English - so I don't have the massive allegiance to either state, but if the Roosters can win the next couple of GF, I wouldn't give a toss if Queensland win the next 50 Origins.

I'll watch it - because it's on, but ask me two hours after it's finished to describe anything that happened in the game, and it'll have been erased from my memory.

Origin. The football equivalent of a slap up take away chinese.

I have to admit, I'm only over it because NSW haven't won it in light years.
I don't want our guys getting mentally scarred by another series defeat from probably the greatest state side in the history of sport in Australia. I would love it if Uncle Nick would just say to the boys, "Forget Origin, heres another 100k to sit it out and focus on the Roosters, boys"

Reynolds has won the last spot over Sutton. I was sure they would give the spot to Sutton.

Should have gone with Tim Grant over both of them. But hey, I'm over it...so who am I to comment.

I thought Grant was the obvious choice as well. The side really lacks any size. Obviously they want a mobile team. I just thought Sutton would fill a halves, centre and backrow spot if needed. Reynolds will fit into the halves or Hooker. Surely they will only be giving him a rest when Farah goes off, but hey Laurie might want him if he needs to hook Jnr or maloney.

This was our chance to pick a bigger team then them. For 7 yrs they have dominated us through the forwards and **** knows why those two muppets (Daley and Bozo) went with a mobile pack AGAIN. I think it's an oppurtunity missed by not picking Grant. Imagine having Grant and Fiffitta coming off the bench. Two big humans ready to rip in and get us on the front foot to allow Junior and Maloney to feed quick and early ball to Jennings,Hayne and Morris.
