    Mainly for the bold bit.

The dog botherer knew we were missing Hargreaves knew we had lost Sheck Maloney (not sure of Jennings) and knew we had a lack of depth in the halves and lacked leadership .What does our club captain do ? He carrIes on in an unprofessional manner in the off season which culminated in him embarrassing the club his family and himself, which results in the club losing their startig halfback for the 1st 8 matches.

Let us not bury our heads in the sands or delude ourselves here. Our current position is very much a result of the dog botherers off field antics We have lost 4 of the 6 games by less than 6 points and I am of the firm belief with our starting halfback we win 3 of these if not 4 with our starting halfback in the team.

So my answer is YES Mitchell Pearce is in a huge way responsible for the position we find ourselves in He has single handedly ****ed this season for his team mates the club sponsors and supporters
FCUK YOU MITCHELL PEARCE thanks for your effort and leadership thus far this year
    SUPER DRAGON!

I do find it funny that people like to bag out our halfback Mitchell Pearce and claim that he is not talented and that our team is better off without him as he cannot lead our team to victory in close matches but our position is all Mitchell Pearce's fault that we would not be 1 win from 7 matches if he were in the team and we would have won the close matches had he played. Some people laughably claimed that Jayden Nikorima would lead our team to victories and one person even said that he will be better than Brad Fittler but now the argument has changed and the goal posts have been moved and Mitchell Pearce's absence has been detrimental to the team. You cannot have it both ways!

Let's not forget that Mitchell Pearce not being in the team is the wish that many fans on this website had and now that we have that they still blame the man for our position.

Someone said Nikorima would be better than Freddy? I never thought I would say this but Johnny please post an appropriate meme. Fark me, now I've heard it all.

Unequally YES. Unlike the loss of JWH and Cordener where the fate of injury stepped in, Pearce is accountable for his actions and the consequence hurt us. His suspension has meant > 50% of our spine is inexperienced. Whilst, the exposure is beneficial to the players' development, it is not helping directing the team around the park through his leadership, kicking and ability to execute the game plan.
It is fair to say possibly 2-3 games would be won if Pearce played

Lets be fuking real here, Pearce's absence isn't the reason we are coming last. Its because we lost our 5/8 and then him that is the reason we are coming last. You take any team in the comp and put a couple of rookie halves into it, I guarantee you, no matter who is around them, that team is coming bottom 4. The fact we've been in all our games (besides Rabbits and Cowboys) is a decent achievement.

We've just got to ride this out. In a few weeks time we are going to have JWH, Cordner and Pearce back and that is going to mark the start of our season proper. At the end of the day, if we put out our best forward pack with Napa, Evans and Arbusson on the bench, plus Pearce in the halves to steer the team around and provide guidance for Hastings, we will start picking up wins over the bottom half of the competition. We are still only four points outside the eight, and the Eels are likely to lose all their points from what I'm hearing. I still think we will make the eight if our roster stays healthy. And if we get to September with our best side on the park, we will be hard to beat.

Cogburn said that Nikorima had the potential to be the best 5/8 we've had since Freddy.

Mitchell Piss is partly to blame. The party culture among some of the senior players is the root cause, and this has divided the playing group.

We've lost a lot of close ones due to inexperience and Pearce could have helped steer the ship and lead us to victory during those close games. I hope our season isn't over, we can drop something like 4-6 games for the rest of the year and still make the eight so at least we have a small opportunity.
