His game against the Titans was his worst - left wanting in positional play in defence, and beaten for pace, dropped ball.
The flip side is that he makes yardage with his carries.
Robbo said in the presser that the side is unlikely to be changed - which means Dawg could be there until Toups gets back.

I watched him the whole second half from the stands. He was gassed with his hands on his head the whole second half. Barely ran for one of Keary’s ingoal kicks to his wing. He just isn’t fit enough for NRL.

Yeah, who needs his 176m and 70 PCM taking the tough runs out of our end? He is certainly not having the impact you would hope, but he is far from useless.

Poor bastard, so old and slow now, like watching a slow motion train wreck.Tries hard but fark he's a reserve grader.
anyone think that the titans knew it and attacked him from their own half

                Yes, correct.

                Bmorris - injured
                Toops - injured
                Billy Smith - injured
Tuipulotu - barely 18 years old. Completely untried. Robbo knows its not the right time to blood him unless either Iku or Hall go down. He is highly likely to be a turnstile in defence initially.

And despite the apparently shitehouse Iku and Hall on the wings we are still winning games.

While I don't hate him by any means, and have been supportive and hoping that he might have tasted some success while out here, I think his time and opportunity are just about up now.

It is sad to see, but age and injury looked to have caught up with him. Not all of our signings will turn to gold, and it is just about time that we decide to cut our losses.

Thank you for your efforts Ryan, but it just wasn't meant to be.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

He is in a Roosters jersey, Robby has picked him, I disagree with all of you. We did what we had to do to get the win today, you could see that from the start. Nothing flash, take the 2 points on offer and get to next week. I have no issues with Hall.
I think the only person who didn't want Siliti in the centres more than Hall was Siliti himself!! I was really getting used to Josh Morris' faultless defence.

Cmon guys this team has been ravaged with injury. Taking aim at a winger is pointless....especially one who made 176 metres in attack, 70 post contact metres, 4 tackle busts and his average play the ball speed was equal fastest with SST. Yes he missed a tackle and dropped a ball....geez

Absolute rubbish thread, Hall made one error, and did plenty of good stuff, including taking a bomb on the goal line and staying infield, plenty of tough yardage runs as well.

The guy ran 176m in a game where we hardly dominated (more than all Titans except Kelly, who had a cracker). In any other team that would be close to a MOTM effort.

One thing I notice is that in attack he doesn't seem to camp out on the left waiting for tries. He goes into the middle and attacks like a forward (or Tupou). That's his value add and he's doing alright...

Perhaps we could bring him on at HT in his Roosters kit and he solves Rubik cube??? Gotta get some value out of him somehow

The NRL don’t do half time entertainment. Not even at a grand final with 80,000 there.

If Hall had scored one try yesterday even just by being in the right place at the right time, most on here would be going on about how good he is.

You can’t have brilliant back up players cause of the salary cap. He is good back up. Nobody can fault his effort anyway. Same for Iku. There is a reason these guys are fringe players.

The Roosters’ recent performances are not all about Ryan Hall. It’s just that he reflects some of our problems. A replacement who is barely up to first grade standard and will not win you a game. Ikuvalu was one of the few replacements to play well. The others are average, and in this comp average is not good enough. Unfortunately for Ryan Hall average would be a step up because he is absolute rubbish. Getting meters from rucking the ball up numerous times achieves little particularly when he never makes any post contact meters. He can barely catch a ball, and his defense is some of the worst you’ll see. It’s not all about Ryan Hall but he’s hard to ignore when he’s such a rubbish player.
