I don't believe in disparaging anyone who played for the Roosters - leave that to Souths fans Watts shouldn't be included anyway as he never took the field for us in first grade.

Those rubbishing Danny Nutley should go revisit the May 2007 game against the Gold Coast.

One of my all time favourite Roosters wins mate, what a game!

Terry Hill also had a blinder that game, but that Sherlock chip and chase was something special and totally unexpected..

I can’t remember anymore highlights from him unfortunately..

One of the worst. Not to mention Brian Smith randomly playing Lopini Paea in the run on team. Pretty sure he had not featured at all that year and Mose Masoe did not even get a start.

That was the 2010 Grand Final.

I'm pretty sure Mose was injured and couldnt get fit for the game,

That was Lopini's first game back from injury in a long time, Smithy plopped him straight into starting prop.

I kind of liked Lopini. Funnily enough, there was a brief period where he was probably one of the top meter eaters in the comp and it coincided with him growing his afro out.

After he shaved his head he turned straight back into an relatively average front rower.

There might be something to that you know.....Sia Soliola was a fairly average centre with us with short hair. All of a sudden he re-emerges years later at Canberra with a huge afro hairdo and it's like he has grown an extra testicle and is Ruben Wiki re-incarnate.

I'd like to see Robbo consider a compulsory afro policy for anyone in the team that can grow one.

I was sitting right in front of where Kurt Sherlock knocked on at Belmore , that game we needed to win to make sure of a semi spot, we were down 15-2 but got back to 15-8 and building pressure when Sherlock knocked on at dummy half just meters out from the line. Canterbury ran over us again after that to win 25-8, Jarrod McCracken destroyed us that day.

The other game at the SFS Easts were leading 12-10 and were on on top of Canterbury and another try would have just about sealed the win but Sherlock went himself and didn't pass to Garry Freeman totally unmarked and then lost the ball., it would have put East up 18-10 but after that the dogs took control and won 22-14, I remember Rod Silva getting crunched in a heavy tackle in that match and had to be taken off which didn't help Easts cause. Despite the two bad errors which cost East that year i reckon there were far worse players than Kurt Sherlock to wear the Red White and Blue.

Sorry I meant to refer to the 2010 GF. Interesting theory about the hair. We did have Eloni with the 'fro recently. Did ok for a garbageman!

I didn't dislike Lopini but at the time he did not seem in contention for a spot.

In that game against the Broncos he also kicked a goal off the side line, the ball hit the cross bar and bounced over.

Luke Dorn, only played one first grade for Easts and actually didn't play a bad game that night as Easts beat The Cowboys 32-22 at Gosford with a few stars missing due to State of Origin, he just wasn't good enough to crack a first grade spot permanently.

LOL I've hardly done any of those things in recent memory in regards to the Roosters but I do remember flinging myself on my bed at age 13 and having a hormonal girl tantrum when Parra were behind in the 1981 grand final as that was our family's team. I also got told off by Mum in 2004 after that grand final, doing her best Tom Hanks impression "There's no crying! There's no crying over grand finals!"

Also one of my nieces is now in her 30's and deeply religious. Her late father (my brother in law) was a Souths fan and the first words she learned from him in regards to watching sport where "F***g B***T". Toddlers have no filter and mimic the grownups..

I do love that scoreline in relation to the 2010 semi against Wests, and we can thank 2 of the most maligned players on here in Braith and SKD for that come from behind win and turn it into a 19-15 victory after I had dreamed the score the night before as 18-15 and posted it on here too as my prediction. I'm in this footage too just after saying to the people I went to the game with that I smelled an SKD intercept:

You obviously havnt abused your brain cells. Seriously I watched the 2019 GF on Tuesday & still see things that I havnt seen before & Ive watched it about 5 times, I went to the GF but in between purchasing a couple ah okay a few beers & then drinking the beers & talking to people just random people I missed chunks of the game.
