Let's be frank... us getting Rads for the ANZAC test is better than the Drizz getting a $10,000 fine + a 'don't do that again' warning.

IMO they won't cheat to that extent with their interchanges again (just blew away some of their luck to win an early season game). I know they're the Drizz, but IMO they run the risk of refs being coached to be more assertive about their injuries/HIAs/penalties. It was the ref who farked up by binning Rads (wasn't a high enough grading to do that) and allowing Munster to come back on with an HIA... not the Drizz.

It's natural for refs to get a gut feeling of what has happened (based on the flow) and then just keep calling things that way. IMO it's lazyness rather than corruption on their behalf. In the case of Rads/Munster they looked at how much Munster was complaining (irrelevant) the rather than what actually happened to him (which is his job).

I have no explanation for why an HIA wasn't done given that's the reason Munster left the field... 'head injury... going off to get an HIA'. The ref shoulda demanded he go and do an HIA.

Comments in the SMH support the decisions. I'll boycott the Foxsports article. As for Latrell, we all know he's a hothead. To be honest, I was at the Grand Final where he slammed the opposition player into the fence and thought it was a miracle he wasn't penalised!

They had their pants pulled down by Munster so they had to give Rads a break for being a victim of cheating by Storm.

Exactly! The honchos at NRL had no other choice. Two wrongs don't make a right - except in this case .

Furthermore, we got screwed over with Harry Grant not going off HIA who went on to score a soft try from dummy-half.

Melbourne were the better team last week but FFS Annesley - get some consistency across the referees i.e Latrell should have copped 10mins and the 4 week ban justifies that.
NRL officials - consistency too with players like Grant and Cleary. Speed up the independent sideline review and get them off for a mandatory 15 mins. If cats like Munster want to make a mockery of the new rules and drop to the ground, fine.......they MUST go off for 15 mins.

The benefit of hindsight is a wonderful thing but seriously how is it us punters can apply common sense to the dramas but game administrators cannot?
