They're a much better side with Cook and Murray (although Murray mightn't play), but I still think we'll beat them, even if we have a few outs.
As long as Tauks, Lodge and Jared are playing, we're going to be tough to beat. I expect Radley and Suaalii back. Don't know about Toops.

Although it's deflating to lose Manu, I actually think we beat pretty much anyone bar Penrith without him. We'll have to be good, but I don't think losing him is a death-sentence. Optimistic he'll only miss a game or maybe two, at the worst. I think we can survive until he's back.

Murray is facing an 11 day minimum out after two head knocks, needs
to pass an independent test to play any earlier

I'm of the opinion that Murray won't play for Souths but Cook likely will unless he has COVID complications. I think JWH, Verrills and Suaalii definitely return next week, Radley could play for us but I think Tupou will probably come back week 2 of the finals.

Our backline is our weak link but even still Tedesco is the best fullback in the world, Suaalii will get called up for Australia, Momirovski is a premiership winning centre and Hutchison whilst very slow has been above average thus far in my opinion.

I'm quietly confident that we can beat Souths and go onto the grand final as the troops return.

But we have likely lost Manu for at least next week & Toops likely still out also. They lost Murray after 20sec & made a comeback & kept it respectable. They scored with 12 men & we didn't go on with it. They also get Cook & Campbell back. It will also be hard to keep Latrell quiet 2 weeks in a row.

Advantage us of course..they are the ones who got taken down..plus Latrell has proven he's still in whiny tantrum thrower mode which makes him a hot head on field. His mind is on what he's going to complain about next and to whom, rather than the actual game itself. Couldn't win a captain's challenge because his queries were nonsense and fantastical. Teddy's are always articulate and worth while, hence us winning a lot of them..

Rattle his cage continually Easts..over and over..that's how..it's like picking up a rock and watching all the little critters hiding under there scurry away in fright..love how they slammed him every time he got near the ball..and that was just the crowd booing..

I wish there was a way to filter all the negativity so I don't have to read it..Whinging, moaning, negativity and complaining belongs at the Burrow..not on here..

It's sport it's not perfect & there's many up's & downs during the season. Find me a forum or comment section anywhere on the internet without negativty or complaint.

We are on fire & can go all the way but I'm fearing injury will cruel our chances this year. It's frustrating.

Don't let it get you down. Trent is very good at ensuring the team will have coverage for the injuries. Trust in him and trust in me too..I have a good track record myself in positivity. I just don't like reading that our fans on here are worried about next week. I want us all to be happy today about the win....we'll be fine and I hope you have a good weekend..that's a good segway into wishing all the Roosters dads on here a very happy Fathers Day for tomorrow...

If Hutcho plays centre we're screwed.

May as well give the Pommy a go.

If you watch the post game interview, both Robbo and Teddy had a wry smile when talking about Manu’s injury.
In my optimistic mind maybe it’s not as bad as it looks.

Mate I like Hutcho but surely you can see he's out of his depth defensively in the centres. He's been great filling in at dummy half, five eighth and even lock.

Souffs will tear us to shreds if he's in the centres next week. At least the Pom is a specialist centre.

You all forget our defence is on no matter who plays...souffs comeback was mediocre..lucky bounce off the post..intercept loose ball..1st try was on the back of penalties ...we far out muscled them and outsmarted them
