The Sydney show got far better reviews..

She is a different singer now, there is a much raspier quality to her voice, but she can still belt amazingly well (therein lies the problem, belting with strained larynges)..there were flashes of vocal brilliance..the last chorus of i will always love you was just like vintage whitney

and as for the bad reviews, it's just a whole load of sensationalism.. the papers have to sell editions some how and obviously slandering people is the best way to do it.. she didnt take a break after two songs, she didnt take a 20 minute break and hand the microphone over to her brother in the middle because she needed a rest: this is an 8 minute scheduled wardrobe change which has occured every show since the first in december...and people did not walk out early at all...in fact, after the finale, people stayed and cheered for over 5 minutes and she came out for an encore

and most importantly, she looks happy and healthy and she put on a show for her supporters..

well worth the 195..especially since i was front and center !

The Sydney reviews were hardly flattering either.My friends in Brisbane who went and love Whitney and have never said a bad word about her said they felt robbed of their $200.
Yes i know here voice is not what it used to be and nobody would expect her to do what she did back in the 80's but a lot of her voice problems now are due to the damage she did with drugs,i actually agree with Laurens comments.
On a brighter note,i have heard five different reports from friends who went to George Michael last night and they are all raving how good he was.

im not 100% sure. During the swallowing process, the soft palate raises, blocking to entrance to the nasopharynx to prevent nasal regurgitation, thus forcing the food down the oropharynx. Since gargling occurs while liquid is still in the mouth, I would attribute it to vibratory motion of the soft palate, but not 100% certain

I am exhausted,have friends over from Canada and another from the UK and have been playing tour guide around Sydney while they have been here,i'm just not up to these late nights that happen after a day out anymore and neither is my liverAnother late night coming up tonight,a pool party tomorrow afternoon/evening and a picnic on Shark Island on Friday.
