It's not going to happen but i would like to see him at dummy half and see Maloney handle 5th tackle options.
I agree Artie - he stands too flat and still most time he receives the ball and he be better at dummy half not just on the 5th eliminates his poor kicking near the try line too
Mitchell Pearce had a crack tonight and was far from worst on ground.
He had two poor kicks in the opposition twenty that went dead when he attempted to roll it in goal on the first half which was frustrating.
His clearing kicks were good though as he found some space and distance.
I remember late in the game he had another grubber from 30m's out where he stepped Peter Wallace and it was a well placed kick by giving himself some space and time and kept Brisbane at their own end.
He took the line on multiple occasions tonight and put his body on the line and he made at least 2-3 line break assists, one being for James Maloney who was ankle tapped by Scott Prince.
I thought he had a fair game and I liked his effort.
All Brett Finch had was the inside ball which killed Steve Meredith.
