Some valid points being made here.

So I've changed my mind. Go hard for Folau. Otherwise keep the faith in Moga and Milne coming through.

As well as all the issues mentioned above, he's also a liar.

He told the magistrate he was going to become a muslim, to stay out of prison presumably, then after being sentenced he was spotted drinking all over Sydney.

All this bs about 'I was just out having dinner' - he was on the schooners and the punt when I saw him, and his dinner was a packet of crisps.

      He's an industrial grade knobhead.

His professionalism has been just what our players needed.
The only thing that Scummy Bill had in his favour in my eyes was that he was now the ultimate professonal in his preparation for games, and had sworn off the grog.

The same can't be said of Ferguson. I doubt he is capable of keeping off the grog for any length of time, and has plenty of form in not turning up to training, which I don't believe is acceptable whilst a club is still paying him. And I don't expect the Chooks staff to babysit him 24/7 either. He is a huge risk to be taking for any club, let alone the Chooks.

I'm probably in the minorty, but I just don't think he's worth the hassle - especially as he won't come cheap. His massive ego means he believes he's worth a lot more than others might think.

Please... SBW didn't break the law, or assault a female or have a string of crap. He turned his back on the bulldogs when he felt dudded... You can't mention SBW and Ferguson's history in the same breath.

              Scummy Bill?

What a pathetic excuse for a Roosters fan.

The bloke is already a Roosters legend and great role model for kids.

In your opinion, which you are entitled to. As I am entitled to my opinion of the bloke, including the name, which I have used for many years, long before he was at the Chooks.

                    That's cool.

Just so long as you didn't cheer his game defining moments in last years GF.

Or anything good he does in general in a Roosters jersey.

I just can't believe any Roosters fan would show such disdain for a bloke who played a sizeable role in turning the club around with his work ethic and example for others. Not to mention his amazing on-field exploits which played an enormous role in winning us a comp.

Oh well, it must have sucked not cheering all those amazing things he did on the footy field!

No Tommy, I don't cheer for him as an individual in the Chooks colours. Never have. He gets a cheer/clap when he runs on/off the field as part of the team if he runs on with other players. But I don't stand, cheer or clap when he scores a try, creates a play, nor when he appears on the big screen when the side is named. Nor when he goes on or off the field alone. But hey, I don't boo or jeer him either, as I've seen some supporters do to players they dislike.

Call it my silent protest, and it's a natural instinct not to react to him. I've never wanted him at our club and that has and will never change. Only a few months to go now though and he'll be gone.

                        You're missing out, NC.

You seem like a well spoken and respectful fan, NC. And it is your right ... but this stance of yours makes no sense to me at all.

                        Incredulous.

The Dogs are the most, perhaps the only, truly vile club in the NRL. It's a shameful organisation.

And I don't blame anyone for walking out on them

He has been convicted of an assault against a female. If that does not give an insight into the character of the bloke, I don't know what does. But I suppose that's OK because he's got footballing talent is it??

Im with you Tommy. I think its pathetic that a roosters fan refers to one of our players as Scummy Bill. After everything he hs done for this club over the last yr, on and off the field. Its Disgraceful. And yep NC you are entitled to your opinion, but i think its really disappointing, not that u probably give a faark what i think.
Its no different than Turk referring to Boyd Cordner as a dumb pr!ck the other day for his game.
I think some of you need to show a little more resect for what these guys do for us. Its not as if either of them have been belters or brought our club into disrepute whilst they have been here. Nothing but true professionals.
