  • there must be concerns Pearce has torn his hamstring tendon

just looking at the location and nature of how the injury occurred there would be massive fears that Pearce has done a hamstring tendon, if this is the case he will also be done for the season.

fingers crossed its just a hamstring strain, but even then given the location just above the knee, it brings complications regarding bleeding into the knee.

it'll be a baptism of fire for Horrie jnr if that's the case.. But he looks to grow in confidence and would grab the chance to play in the finals.. JWH is the biggest loss.

From my experience the worst hamstring injuries are when you tear them up high, Pearce looked like his was down a lot lower, fingers crossed he might only miss a couple of games and be back for the semis. Having said that, JWH is a bigger loss

In a cruel double blow on the eve of the finals, co-captain Mitchell Pearce could also be sidelined for between four and six weeks with a partial hamstring tear

Where have you heard this. Has he had scans already?

IMHO Pearce is only a loss if Hastings gets hurt.

We can still win it without Pearce, what has pearce done other than put up midfield bombs. All 3 games without the myth we have won. JWH is another matter....

Adequate yes. Not quite better yet.

Having digested last night's events, I am still quite confident we can win this thing. SOH handled himself well, and our forwards made ground easily despite playing extra minutes. Imagine what we would have done with an extra two forwards like Moa and Matagi.

I think Napa will stand up in JWH's absence. Maloney showed last night why we've absolutely let the wrong half go. HoJu made it so Jimmy the Gent could do his thing without having to worry that the Goober was going to shit his pants and do something stupid.

Evans and Napa have the talent to cover for JWH.
