This year will be the telling year whether robbo and sticky were any different at all. I still take the 3 grand final appearances over the 3 minor prems.

I'd take Robbo every day of the week plus Public holidays. I'll tell you why.

Ricky is one of the most blessed players to pull on a boot. Meninga also comes to mind. Some players have had a protected career and post career.I am noting Meninga's Origin successes but he has had World Class players to manage and great coaching support. Now he is Aussie coach and managed to attract a record pay cheque for a part-time role.

Robbo played a handful of 1st grade games. He has achieved his success through hard work and no brand to trade off. I think he is intelligent and promotes the game first and his thoughts put the game first and not necessarily pushes his own agenda (think 99% of coaches). I do genuinely hope one day he becomes NRL Commissioner and I also see him holding the NSW SOO coaching role for a decade.

When Robbo came in, it was the players that wanted him. We never hear players criticise Robbo and our days of disharmony and player misbehaviour seem to be behind us and when exceptions occur they are dealt with promptly no matter the player involved (Pearce, Cordener). The "Represent" campaign became our motto and way of life.

No matter where we finish on the table, you know we will be well represented. We also will have a strategic plan that will be executed to remedy the problem the following year.

For this I know we have the best coach that continues to attract the best players to play under him. Only Bennett can also claim this.

I don't see how letting Jennings go early frees up a lot of cap space if Penrith are currently paying most of his salary.

I am sure they are not funding anything this year...

            Robbo is great coach,

If Hayne comes back to the nrl, it will be with the roosters.

Sbw will be here in 2017 and I can't wait.

That would allow us to keep Jennings (on a sensible price hopefully) and means the SBW investment makes a lot more sense.
Manly don't have 700 left in their cap and Codner is worth 500 max to our current roster, we ain't that desperate..

The RLW Mole, who I must say is mostly on the money tweeted last night the following

Michael Jennings to Parramatta, with Dale Copley from the Bronco's replacing Jennings at the Roosters.

They probably all do. Do you think the club is making way for Sonny ???

The only way I could see Jenko going this year was if Mitchell was going to play fb and fergo remain in the centres. I don't see it happening. Cordner is worth the big money. And hayne sure as hell is not returning. After he plays against the rams in the last nfl game of the season he will activate a contract clause that will keep him with the 49s next year.

Jennings was wasted with us in 14 and 15. Early ball FFS! Our halves gave him no chance to shine.
Was a great signing for us solely on his try in the GF, not many could have done that!
Will remember his time with us fondly, especially when he scooped on a loose ball at Brooky and i rode him hard to go the length whilst surrounded by Manly gronks!!!

This all has to do with keeping Cordner. Nothing to do with Sonny.
