Players too busy thinking about next weeks game.

Criticism of Robbo is pathetic. Really pathetic.

Imagine that, Brisbane missing the 8 and QLD losing Origin in 1 year... bye bye QLD memberships and viewers in 2019 (they are all fair weather fans... we saw that before when they collectively agreed to bail after 3 straight Origin losses - NSW fans tend to hang around because they actually like watching footy, not just their team winning under rigged conditions).

I am farking scared of playing the Storm in the GF because we can win any game against any team but the media will want a showdown if it is Cronk v Smith so (like today v JT) a 30+ point easy win will be converted into a 6 point win. Fortunately today the refs had the cojones to blow the whistle when the clock REALLY hit 80 mins and be like 'nuuuup... Roosters have already had 2nd place stolen from them... you lost Cowboys and fark JT... if this wasnt your last time on the same turf as Cronk I woulda farking sent you off for all your goddamn whinging and chit chat you sissy!!!!)

I don’t think they were looking ahead. The coach’s coach took care of that.

Just as an aside I want to point out that of all the games played thus far this weekend, the Roosters are the ONLY home side to have lost the penalty count.

As for whether TR is the dumbest coach I have no idea as I didn't see the game.

Indeed. It has got everyone fired up. Too bad the coach couldn't fire up the team tonight.

The team played as though it was a light training run. Cowboys cut through our left edge many a time.

Coach got them up to lead by 18, team shat themselves after that.

Why? So Taumalolo, McLean or Hess could run over him?

in last years prelim as soon as Watson and his small frame came on he was targeted by Taumalolo and that’s wen they started rolling to ultimately beat us

Maybe if we lost you could have your rant but we won mate, they had 1 incomplete set the whole game, more possession, more penalties and we still won

Yeah the whole coaching thing on game day is overrated.
Their job is to set the plays & structures etc at training, but on game day a fair amount of it is taken out of their hands.
I mean does Robbo give away our penalties, drop our balls, get carried over the sideline or miss set shots from 10m out like Latrell does weekly?
He can move players or sub them but even that is restricted by the limited interchanges & injuries.
Just seems like a coach is an easy target so people do that instead of really watching the game & seeing the 100s of things that happen.I mean does he get praise then for Manus try,for the try Latrell got....it has to go both ways if you want to play it that way.

Thought we went ok myself. We still played some good attacking footy without Keary and you can see things coming together with this team every week.
Keary coming back will hopefully launch us into an unstoppable juggernaut for the finals....and a lot of the credit for that has to go to Robbo!

Yes it is. We had a new spine and a few players back in the squad after being out, and put together some really slick football for most of the match.

Souths almost lost to Parra - and then hammered Melb.

But in saying that the time they probably wanted to introduce him into the game was when the Cows got a roll on so hard time for a kid. Also i think he was really only there for cover in case Matto failed.....which he didn't, so no need for him.
I imagine he planned to put Sos on, but when we started leaking tries later on, he couldn’t.

But no doubt, Souths will be rushing Cronk on last tackle plays next week. Matto didn’t make one so is deffo a weakness in that dept.

The team that “didn’t put in” (as you put it) were breathing out of their arses on full time, too knackered to move a muscle. Same with the cows. But I suspect you were sitting on your comfy couch watching it on telly so wouldnt have seen it.
