What sort of issues & demons does he have? Does he just got off the rails with rambling & paranoia or does he need alcohol or drug counselling? It's amazing the help you can get with modern medicine.

Roberts has checked himself into rehab three times- so he recognises when he needs help. Thats half the battle!! Good for him- i hope it all works out

I dunno the guy but from the media ramblings I've read he abuses painkillers and then goes missing. Potential anger issues too (e.g. the alleged hairpull followed by clubs refusing to hand over footage). He grew up going between foster families and my understanding is that his wife is a legend... looks after everything and cares for him.

All sounds a bit like Burgess but from a more fragmented/abused past (with cultural identity in there too) rather than a privileged , white, middle-class background. I guess that's why I see it as 'demons'... he's had a traumatic life with a lot of pain (plus he's indigenous so I mean... there's other stuff there). Whereas, Burgess is just a flat out entitled d!ckhead who's used to being a white, 195cm, buff and able to get whatever he wants (also has his mummy to get him outta trouble).

Roberts' 'speed' isn't as good as is fabled IMO. He isn't in any sprinting record books (would be with the times quoted) and his style doesn't suggest he's a natural sprinter... tense head and lead feet. Powerful runner but not a fast one IMO.
