ICGAFF how much we lose by tonight. It makes no difference this year.
Just happy to see the young guys develop this year. Hugo's turn tonight.
We will get better as the year progresses and these young kids gain experience and we get a few back.
We are playing the long game now. Anyone talking about why we let him go or the other go and who we should or shouldn't be signing is like that old man yelling at the clouds. Nobody cares.

Another thought - count on one hand or two hands the number of decent sets we have to score. They will have at least 12-15 with repeats, Clearly kicking over the top (how do you defend that). We will get less than 5 sets in their quarter.

At least now we have a plan and a direction the club is going in they didn't quite have that in 2009 even though there was the foundation for it, nobody coming in to the team in 2009 was an exciting prospect unlike some of the guys we get to see this year.

Anyone not talking about why we let him go or the other go and who we should or shouldn't be signing is someone who doesn't care. We've reached a point where a 40+ flogging is deemed okay, as long as we blood a whole lot of youngsters. The 40+ floggings of the 80's & 90's were okay because they were mainly day games and it was quite relaxing not expecting to win, watching lower grade games to watch, stretched out with plenty of empty seats.

            Faaaaar... Collins out too?

I don't wanna say it but at what point does the NRL have to step in and say 'we can't actually give you an exemption so that you can use NSW Cup players yo fill gaps!!! You cannot field a first grade team this week and we're not gonna allow another 50+ points to be scored against a bunch of uncooked juniors!!! You must forfeit and hand back your ticket money. You're at least $2m under the cap having released May and Sitili. You were warned that this might happen when doing so...'

I don't wanna be a d!ck but surely for player welfare there is a point at which a line gets drawn where a team is simply not 1st grade standard and subjecting inexperienced players to a predetermined flogging is against the spirit of the game.

Hate to say it but I think we're pushing the line of what's acceptable. I'm all for developing youngsters but sending fawns out to be eaten by a pack of lions? It reaches a point where it is no longer character building and is simply dangerous due to the mismatch of skills.

We are essentially a NSW Cup team this week with the inclusion of an ex Australian captain, a quality journeyman winger, a rep back rower, a capable utility (who is starting) and a veteran half. Hate to put it that way (and don't wanna devalue these guys) but if this were Sydney Grammar v Joey's, the sports masters would be having a chat about whether to do a friendly game against Joey's 3rds, with uncontested scrums due to the size/skill mismatch. In professional terms... if it were a boxing match then IDK if regulators would be happy to approve the fight.

They just relocated a match to avoid a cyclone they aren't going to cancel a match because of injuries. Player welfare jesus christ you can't be serious

Gee the white flag in pride effort, commitment, showing some fight for the fans..etc.. has gone up pretty quickly by you.

Of course it matters how much we lose by! Wtf!

It will certainly tell a lot of what kind of squad & coach we have if floggings are easily accepted.

                    Bwaaahahaha...

I'd never bet against Easts, but this one's gonna make some eeeeeeeasy money for a lot of punters. Reminds me of a song.

                    ---

                    There was a Joe
                    Leanin' on the back door
A couple Jills with their eyes on a couple bills
                    Their eyes was statin'
                    They was waitin'
To get their hands on some easy money

                    They flipped a dime
One said, "Well, I'll take heads this time"
                    One stepped up
                    One stepped back
                    One loosened her shoulder strap
                    She couldn't speak
                    Her knees got weak
She could almost taste that easy money

There was this old black cat
Sittin' in an old black Cadillac
                    The Joe smelled sweet
She curled up at her boyfriend's feet
She says, "I got a plan
Listen, Sam, how'd ya like to make some easy money? "

                    He says, "Yes! Oh, yes!
Jus' tell me what you want me to do"
She said, "Baby, you can trust me
Baby, but you must be hidin' in my room
                    At a quarter to two"

Well, the cat told the boy
Come up to the room and play with my toy
But the Jill set the bait
And she wasn't gonna sit around and wait
But this guy was wise to all the lies
And he flies out the door
                    With the easy money

                    Because there ain't no man
Who got the money in his hand
Who got any of that bread
                    Being slow in the head
                    The easier it looks
                    The hotter it hooks
There ain't no such thing as easy money

                    We say, "Yes! Oh, yes!"

                    Saturday night
There was a terrible, terrible fight
Between two dames who was losin' the same game
                    It wasn't clear
But I hear somebody was lookin' for some easy money, yeah

Should go back to two referees.
There was a reason it was done then.

Line is Roosters + 24,5 pts.....I still can't be tempted

Can't remember a bigger start given the Easts especially during the early rounds. Seen those lines given to the tigpies in the late round though.

Even Tigpies supporters feeling sorry for us...

Hmmmm some fighting words up there.

Talk about who we lost and who we should e shot for. Yeah it's fan chatter but also important to own mistakes and try not repeating them.

This game could have negative effects if we really get towelled...maybe.

They don't want pearl clutching just support from us not having the boot in after a maybe big loss.

Why didnt the NRL step in for the Tigers over the last 3 years?
The NRL shouls step in & not allow Cleary, Yeo, Edwards, To'o, Martin, Sorenson, Tago, McLean, Alomti, Cole, Leota, Kenny & Smith play
Just put another $50 on the Chooks have a joint then go for a 25 klm run in your short shorts & your wife beater singlet, you'll be right jizz.
