Lam in the halves makes sense to why when he has come on the field Jake stays on. Trent must have been testing him as a half. Give him some time next to keary. Hutch goes alright in the halves position. I would like to see Lam come on after 15 or 20 minutes and carve up around the ruck. I dont think Hutcho is elusive as much as Lam. We shut down Hunt and keep an eye on sailor we should be right. There forwards are lighter than ours and their backs arent too quick.
Flanno has been solid without setting the world on fire, but these past few weeks, it seems as though he's really not touching the ball until the last tackle. You could see last weekend that Lam was desperate to get involved, to the point where Robbo eventually had him playing first receiver. It's probably more a case of LL playing well and adding spark, which we're really lacking right now
Also, we don’t want to use the Broncos tradition of dropping players for a supposed ‘injury’ when it is in fact bad form. See Croft and Milford as their most recent examples.
LATEST: Big call from Roosters coach Trent Robinson. Says Kyle Flanagan has been dropped not rested. Clearly looking to shake things up with finals nearing. Flanagan has excellent qualities and will learn. Lachlan Lam has the chance to cement a spot. @9NewsSyd @NRLonNine
