I don't really want to mention the guy's name but who saw his idiotic article slamming the coverage SBW got. I admit it was a little over the top but this guy takes every shot he can at anything to with the NRL. He is a poor excuse for a sports journo.

He is a north shore Rugby Union boy through and through. His folks had a huge farm up Mangrove Mountain, went to Knox Grammar.
He sees himself as above the 'working class' game. And he has never got over the fact that Rugby League has a much bigger following then Union here in Australia.
It sends him into a rage whenever something positive Rugby League - wise gets air time. And he furiously jerks off whenever something negative Rugby League - wise get's air time.

I don't have any issues with journos like some fans do but PFS is honestly a poor excuse for a Journo. Every single view I have in my life through sport, family, politics or even what I believe is right and wrong, he has the complete opposite view ...... People like him shouldn't be given the ability to spread their garbage and dilute others.

I just totally ignore every single thing he says and writes, even though that may be easier said than done.
Completely and utterly irrelevant.MRR or Rabid
Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

You're not gonna inject a lot of reason into this thread Mickie. Too many News Ltd readers here who fall for the ad hominem stuff that Murdoch hacks pass of as journalism. PFS' job is to be controversial, to attract a sizable readership regardless of whether it agrees with him or not and it looks like he's got Larry LB on board along with a lot of others.
He is a News Corp target because of his general political positions. Murdoch's "journalists", most of whom left school at the end of Year 10, lock into the company group think (see Ruperts' business interests) when it comes to anything progressive. There used to be a widely used term "Lair" and your lair was a loud mouthed empty head who was always bagging those around him often with second or third hand borrowed ideas usually wrong into the bargain. That's how I see News Corp hacks - a gaggle of old and young lairs. I'm forever waiting for them to get stuck into our Gladys about the hole in the ground at Moore Park, the tramway mismanagement and The Powerhouse fiasco. Not holding the breath though.

"Idiot" is a strong, provocative choice especially if directed to "the smartest guy in the room". It's ad hominem as well so points deducted for that - address the position taken not the messenger because to do otherwise is "lair" behaviour as I pointed out earlier.
The most worrying element of your response, however, is the dissing of the Colts. Anyone from the East would be aware of the special place that the Nuts'n'Bolts occupy in the hearts of those who watched Brian Fletcher, Ian Mackay, Bruce Ayshford, Bert Zara and numerous others go around for the RW&B. It's called history and tradition which you might not know about if not from the place where the Sun rises. Don't worry, it's not your fault.
