I gave me the opportunity to talk about the influence of Murdoch who truly is a danger to Democracy. The Skeez earlier posted about a documentary on him. Chookies should watch that for a better idea of what the Tele is really about.

I didn't "label" ordinary people "racist" but a lot do a pretty good job of labelling themselves. Think Indigenous issues in Oz, Pauline supporters, the poor ol' Muzzies here (those rabid blokes at Cronulla were "ordinary" people) and the Africans in Melbourne and the stuff that they cop. The cynical racist media plays to Aussie prejudice but can still run all that sentimental guff about the Uyghurs when it suits.

I think "our" ABC has lost all credibility with their slanted agendas that we sadly keep them in jobs for. Can only imagine what their take on poor old Rupert would be.

Maybe Sky could do a return serve and do a doc on the ABC and review where our taxes are being spent.

Got any evidence for any of that Stewie because there is plenty that refutes your (Murdoch's) claim? (You just need to Google "ABC bias"). There have been independent investigations that have found that ABC "slanted agendas" criticism is way over hyped and 70% of the population view the ABC as their most trusted news source. Murdoch keeps up the bias line for business (he wants a slice of the audience) and ideological reasons - the ABC doesn't go in for group think.
