That’s the ref mini Sutton’s and older Sutton’s fault.
If he's a man of his word he needs to pull this stuff into line, the new rules are under fire of ref interpretation and I think he's slave to the politics of the league. Enough lip service, that annersley character is as dodgy as they come.

Our squad players got extended minutes in a battle of attrition, and had to dig deep. It will put them in good stead later in the season.

Don't be surprised if Lam ends up playing a key role in our finals run (and hopefully speaking, 3-peat).

Loved the Jared/Hetherington battle which after the initial eruption, Bill Mullins’ nephew lost the stomach. Was a bit spewing that Jared dissed him after full time, but alpha dogs do what they need to do, I guess. I’m sure after they got in the sheds he’d have gone and said hi
Robbo agrees with you. He was very happy with the performance.

Cork on his right leg after taking a bomb and being hit just before he hit the ground. Should have been a penalty. He should have stayed down like the Storm would and it would have been checked by the bunker.

Warriors didn't play that bad and the Chooks didn't take many of the opportunities they created making it a closer game than it should have been - still they came up with the goods when needed despite not being at their best - ugly win but plenty to work on going forward for Robbo and Coaching team

Yeah Lam is growing ay! I was particularly impressed by his defence... a few key tackles there (one-on-one against big men too).

He had a tennis ball size lump straight after he got up. Does that mean that great try scoring machine Ryan Hulk comes in next week to continue his try drought? OMG!

                • It was uncomfortable viewing but a win is a win so i'll take it.

                  • Biggest positive: finally got a win at Gosford.

Ugly win, and an important two points. Injury list still a worry. Our normal mid season wobbles, then come home with a wet sail.

                      They know a few things.
They didn't know enough to take the 2, go 10 in front and get the ball back to go again in attack.
Next minute they were defending on their own line.

                        Hall is good.
Big, strong, takes the ball up well.

Get the ball back again? Have you seen us try and take short kick offs?

8, 10, no difference. But it would have given the Warriors a chance to regain the ball in attacking position from the kick off.

Either way it's a very minor detail that you're choosing to harp on.

                          • "Never give a sucker an even break".

Getting towards the end of the game, take the 2, go 10 ahead, get the ball back, attack and make them keep tackling.
                            Possession is everything.

I reckon the Gap is better option.

Do you think the Roosters will get over the Titans next week end. They have Cartwright & Ash Taylor.
